Y swn cyson o'r llafn siswrn yn torri oedd yr unig fesuriad o amser fynd heibio.
Roedd perfformiad Sachiko Abe yn y sylfaen yn ddiddorol iawn. Unwaith i ni gyrraedd yr adeilad ddiwydiannol anferthol ma, eisteddai hi yn uwch ar ymyl yr adeilad, uwchben y gynilleidfa, ei phenglin wedi orchuddio a phapur di torri'n fan, creuodd lwybr o bapur wedi'i dorri'n fan a dilynnodd hwn at gerflyn a oedd cyn daled ar adeilad bron. Er mwyn medru neud hyn oedd hi di casglu papur dros y saith mlynedd dwytha.
Roedd yna ddistawrwydd yn yr adeilad, oni bai am swn torri, ar y cyfan teimlwn wedi ymlacio yn ystod y perfformiad ac yn dymunol iawn i wylio. Roedd dewis da ir safle hefyd er engraifft, hen adeilad gyda ffenestri hen ffasiwn sydd yn gwneud ir celflyn yma sefyll allan, roedd maint yr ystafell yn effeithiol iawn ac yn cymeryd rhan bwysig. Rwyn hoff iawn o'r symlrwydd sy'n arddangos yma sef, gweithgaredd y perfformiad ar lliw a ddewisodd, ac hefyd mae'r papur gwyn yn gweddu'n dda ir gwaith tyner.
Yn ol arolwg y gynulleidfa mae'r gwaith yn heddychol, ymlaciol ac yn edrych yn ddi ymdrech ond o safbwynt Sachiko Abe, tybed drwy perfformio am awr ar y tro ydio'n medru bod yn ddiflas a blinedig iddi, nid yw hun yn amlwg wrth edrych arni. Unwaith eto roeddwn i wedi swyno gyda'r perfformiad. Gan glywed ei bod wedi bod yn y lluoedd arfog rwyf yn deallt, wrth iddi greu celf bod ffordd yma o fyw yn ddeniadol iawn.

Sachiko Abe's performance at the A Foundation was very interesting. As soon as you entered this large industrial space, there she was sat on the edge of the building, above the audience, her lap covered with cut paper, she had created a trail of cut paper which led on to a sculpture which was made out of her paper cuttings she has accumulated over the last seven years. The room was silent, all you could her was a much exaggerated sound of paper cutting. The whole performance was really relaxing and to look at was aesthetically pleasing. I feel that the space really complimented the work, an old building with very charming old fashioned windows made this live sculpture stand out; I think the sculpture was more effective in this space as it was so big. I really like the simplicity in this work, to the activity of the performance to the choice of colours being used. I think the white paper goes well with the delicateness of her work.
From an audience perspective the work looks peaceful, relaxing and effortless but I can’t help but wonder from Sachiko Abe’s perspective, performing this work, continuously for an hour at a time, I can imagine being very tiring and could be a very mundane activity to be performing for such a long period of time. Having said that, you would not recognize nor could you sense any kind of discomfort, the performance was very captivating and after learning she was once in the defence forces I can understand how she finds creating her own art a very free way of living life.
