I hysbysebu ein harddangosfa rydym wedi cynhyrchu dau posteri gwahanol. Mae un poster yn eithaf syml ac ymlaen yn syth a bydd yn bennaf yn cael ei gosod o amgylch Uni, i hysbysu myfyrwyr eraill a thiwtor y digwyddiad. Mae'r poster eraill yn fwy manwl ac yn mynegi ychydig mwy am ein gwaith unigol ac ar hyn yr ydym yn ei gylch, mae hyn ar gyfer Nic Corke i'w drosglwyddo i ffrindiau neu gymdeithion eraill sydd yn y busnes celf, i ehangu ystod y bobl a allai mynychu, gallai hyn gobeithio cynyddu'r siawns o arddangosfa lwyddiannus. Dyma fy natganiad personol a fydd yn mynd ar hyd ochr fy ngwaith yn yr arddangosfa. Bydd hyn yn rhoi cipolwg ar yr hyn fy ngwaith presennol yn ymwneud a gobeithio gwneud pethau ychydig yn gliriach ar gyfer y sylwedydd .....

To advertise our exhibition we constructed two different posters. One poster was simple and straight forward and was mainly allocated around Uni, to inform other students and tutors of the event. The other poster was more in depth and demonstrates a bit more about our work individually and what we are about, this was for Nic Corke to pass on to friends or other associates who are in the art business, to widen the range of people who may attend, this could hopefully increase the chances of a successful exhibition.
Here is my personal statement which went along side my work at the exhibition. This gave an insight to what my current work is about and hopefully made things a little clearer for the viewer.....

Mae fy ngwaith presennol yn ymwneud ag arsylwadau agos o fy nheulu yng Nghymru, gan gofnodi eu bod gweithgareddau drwy gyfres o eiliadau mewn amser trwy gyfrwng ffotograffiaeth a fideo. Rwy'n teimlo yr iaith Gymraeg yn elfen hanfodol wrth fynegi agosatrwydd hyn, gan ei fod yn yr iaith a siaredir yn ein cartrefi. Yr wyf hefyd yn awyddus i gynnwys elfen cerfluniol i fy ngwaith trwy gyfuno delweddau gyda deunyddiau naturiol yr wyf wedi gwerthfawrogi ar gyfer, ar ôl cael ei godi mewn lleoliad gwledig ac yn amgylchynu gan y byd naturiol ar hyd fy life.I am ddangos sut y lluniau yn cael eu defnyddio i cyfleu negeseuon, sut y maent yn dangos emosiwn a sut y gall ein canfyddiad o ddelweddau gael eu heffeithio gan gynnig a symudiad. Y rhesymau Yr wyf wedi dros wneud y prosiect hwn ill dau yn bersonol ac esthetig. Teulu a anwyliaid wedi amgylchynu i mi fy holl fywyd, ac yr wyf yn dod o hyd i ysbrydoliaeth mawr oddi wrthynt. Yr wyf yn teimlo bod bywyd yn debyg i cloc tician ac mae'n bwysig i mi i gasglu bob eiliad boed yn llonydd neu moving.I deimlo bod dwylo yn dipyn o beth personol ac yn gallu rhoi mewnwelediad i hunaniaeth rhywun a ffordd o fyw, gallant fynd rhyw ffordd i datgelu pwy ydynt fel person. Yr wyf yn anelu i ddal fy nheulu a ffrindiau unigoliaeth trwy dynnu lluniau o'u dwylo, a, gobeithio, yn dangos ymdeimlad o wahaniaeth. Mae fy ngwaith yn gynrychiolaeth o galon cynhesu pwnc ac yn rhywbeth yr wyf yn gobeithio teimlo y rhan fwyaf o bobl yn ymwneud â.

My current work is about the intimate observations of my family in Wales, recording they're activities through a series of moments in time through the medium of photography and video. I feel the Welsh language is an essential component in expressing this intimacy, as it is the language spoken in our household. I also wanted to include a sculptural element to my work by combining images with natural materials which I have an appreciation for, having been raised in a rural setting and surrounded by the natural world all my life.I want to show how images are used to convey messages, how they show emotion and how our perception of images can be affected by motion and movement.
The reasons I have for doing this project are both personal and aesthetic. Family and loved ones have surrounded me all my life and I find great inspiration from them. I feel that life is like a ticking clock and it’s important for me to capture each moment whether it be still or moving.I feel that hands are quite a personal thing and can give an insight into someone’s identity and lifestyle, they can go some way to revealing who they are as a person. I aimed to capture my family and friends individuality through taking photographs of their hands, and hopefully show a sense of difference. My work is a representation of a heart warming subject and something I hopefully feel most people can relate to.

Dyma rai o dystiolaeth ohonom yn gweithio'n galed. Ydym i gyd yn cwrdd yn aml i drafod yr arddangosfa, hyn y gallem ei angen a beth sydd yna i'w drefnu. Rwy'n credu ein bod i gyd yn gweithio gwirioneddol dda fel tîm ac rydym i gyd ar yr un donfedd pan ddaw i syniadau ac ymholiadau cyffredinol yr arddangosfa. Ni oedd un o'r grwpiau cyntaf i arddangos, yr ydym yn gwbl ymwybodol bod y terfyn amser yn weddol fuan ac fel fi fy hun a Will hefyd yn mynd i Berlin yn yr un wythnos, yr ydym yn ceisio trefnu ein hunain fel y gorau ag y gallwn, ac ymlacio gymaint â y gall fod.

Fel gennyf gar yma yn Lerpwl mae'n llawer haws i gymudo i leoedd, a chael y deunyddiau sydd angen i mi gwblhau fy ngwaith, taith grwp i IKEA a gyrru ni i gyd i Aigburth yn ôl ac ymlaen i fynychu cyfarfodydd gyda Nic ac yn y pen draw i osod y gwaith. Rwy'n credu ei fod yn eithaf hanfodol i gludo y ffordd hon ac mae wedi gwneud y profiad cyfan yn llawer haws.

Here is some evidence of us working hard. We all meet up quite often to discuss the exhibition, what we might need and what there is to organize. I think we all work really good as a team and we are capable of producing a great exhibition. We have a good sense of understanding and listen to each others ideas and feelings. We were one of the first groups to exhibit, so we were fully aware that the deadline was soon. As myself and Will were also going to Berlin in the same week, we tried to organize ourselves as best as we could and as relaxed as we could've been.

As I have a car in Liverpool it was a lot easier to commute to places and get the materials we needed to complete the work. A group trip to IKEA, traveling to Aigburth back and forth to attend meetings with Nic and eventually to install the work. I think it was quite essential to transport this way and made the whole experience a lot easier.

Ar ôl ystyried llawer, I a Angharad penderfynu yn erbyn dal yr arddangosfa yng Nghanolfan y Celfyddydau Lerpwl a Datblygu, fel maint yr ystafell yn ychydig yn rhy fach, ac roedd rhai rhwystrau o ran hyd yr arddangosfa a'r llawr darnau lleoliad roedden ni'n meddwl y byddai dod o hyd i well, llawer o le addas yn cael yr ateb gorau fel straen fel ag yr oedd gan fod amser yn rhedeg allan. Rydym yn gwybod y bydd yn Reuben yn ddiweddar wedi ennill lle arddangos yn yr oriel Corke Nic yn Aigburth, Lerpwl, yn rhywle peter awgrymwyd yn flaenorol i mi ac Ang. Roeddem yn falch o gael ei dderbyn fel ychwanegiad i'r arddangosfa ac fel y dywedwyd wrthym y dyddiad cau arddangosfa yn llawer cynharach nag yr oeddem wedi gobeithio rydym yn chwysu ychydig ac yn cael syth i'r gwaith.

Mae dwy brif ystafell, derbyniad ac ystafell gefn sydd yn ystafell dywyll a fyddai'n dangos fy ffilmiau 'n glws. Nic Corke yn berchen ar hen sefydlu oriel lleoli yn aigburth ar ochr y stryd brysur y gall passersby weld gwaith celf eu harddangos yn y ffenestr. byddaf yn dangos dau gerflun, 3 printiau ffotograffig a 4 ffilmiau byr a fydd yn cael ar ddolen a leolir yn yr ystafell gefn dywyll lle gall pobl wylio'r ffilmiau personol mewn heddwch. Angharad hyn o bryd yn cynhyrchu darnau tecstilau bach sy'n cynnwys barddoniaeth Gymraeg, y ddau o'n gwaith yn cyd-daro braf ac yn rhoi i ffwrdd yn thema gref cymraeg gan ei fod yn elfen yn fy ngwaith hefyd. Reuben yn arddangos lluniau inc du sawl sydd â thema barhaus sy'n gweithio'n dda gyda llun a fydd yn siopa digidol printiau o'r ddinas, ar ôl thema benodol yn rhedeg drwy ddwy waith yr wyf yn teimlo y bydd ein holl waith yn ategu ei gilydd a bydd yn edrych yn cwl unwaith y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau.

After much consideration, I and Angharad decided against holding the exhibition in the Liverpool Centre for Arts and Development, as the size of the room was slightly too small, there was a few obstructions in terms of the duration of the exhibition and a issue with the placement of the floor pieces,we thought finding a better, much suitable space would be the best solution, as stressful as it was as time was running out. We knew Will and Reuben had recently attained an exhibition space at the Nic Corke gallery in Aigburth, Liverpool, somewhere Peter previously suggested to me and Ang. We were pleased to be accepted as an addition to the exhibition and as we were told the exhibition deadline was much earlier than we had hoped, we sweated a little and got straight to work.

There are two main rooms, a reception and a back room which is a dark room that would exhibit my films perfectly. Nic Corke owns a well established gallery located in aigburth on the side of a busy street which passersby can see the current art work displayed in the window. I will show two sculptures, 3 photographic prints and 4 short films that will be on a loop and situated in the back room where people can watch the films in peace. Angharad is currently producing small textile pieces that include welsh poetry, both of our work coincide nicely and give off a strong welsh theme as the welsh language is an element in my work also. Reuben’s displaying several black ink drawings that have a continuous theme that works well with Will’s photo shopped digital prints of the city. Having a specific theme running through both works I feel that all our work will complement each other and will look cool once the work is complete.
